Bellevue’s residents have made it clear that climate action and environmental stewardship remain top priorities. The City of Bellevue is answering that call. Use this dashboard to track our progress towards the goals outlined in the Sustainable Bellevue Plan.

In a Sustainable Bellevue survey, 81% of respondents said they have already experienced climate-related hazards in Bellevue.

In 2024, 54% of Bellevue’s electricity came from renewable sources like solar and wind.

In 2024, 26% of Bellevue workers commuted using sustainable transportation like biking, carpooling, or public transit.

In 2024, Bellevue sent 67,937 tons of waste to landfill, roughly the weight of more than 300 Statues of Liberty.

As of 2023, Bellevue’s tree canopy covered 39% of the city, almost meeting the citywide canopy goal of 40%.
